The Haberdashery Lab is for the sewing enthusiast who wants to up their game. Here you can peek behind the curtain of the design atelier and equip yourself with same tools and materials that the industry professionals count on to create their art.

The Haberdashery Lab’s aim is to de-kitsch the idea of the haberdashery you’ve come to know, offering high-quality, industry tested tools and notions for both garment making and pattern cutting.

Here we don’t sell fabrics (there are so many beautiful options available across the internet), but the fusings, fastenings and other notions that will elevate your creations to a professional level. Too often these are so difficult to find in small quantities, or to even know what’s best, but it’s my mission to make accessible the tried and tested favourites of the practicing seamstresses and tailors I work alongside, demystifying the atelier.

Sewing should be a joy, not a frustration, and the tools and materials we use play a big part in this. The shop is split into 3 sections - The Drawing Board (design and development), The Sewing Room (stitching and fusing), and The Finishing Touches (components and hardware).
